VINTAGE: Pinehurst Concours Tickets Go On Sale

The inaugural vintage-car competition will feature 118 prestigious vehicles vying for prizes at the historic Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.

General admission tickets and VIP packages are now on sale for the inaugural Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance, a one-of-a-kind showcase competition of vintage and rare automobiles to be displayed at the famed Pinehurst Resort from May 3-5.

Tickets are available for the Sunday, May 5, concours competition at an introductory price of $40 each at pinehurstconcours.com. VIP ticket packages are priced at $275 per person, which includes a ticket to the Sunday show field and entry into the Putter Boy Pavilion with food and beverage on the day of judging.

“Tickets going on sale create an excitement level that this spectacular spectator event is right around the corner, and those interested in Spring entertainment values and being a part of history can now begin planning on attending,” said Jay Howard, executive director of the Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance.

The first-ever Concours show competition at Pinehurst Resort will feature a staging of 118 prestigious cars, some valued at more than $2 million, in celebration of the 118-year-old resort. Annual concours competitions have been held at Pebble Beach, Calif., for more than a half century, as well as on Amelia Island in Florida.

Individual tickets increase to $50 from May 1-5 and can be purchased at two entry points to the show field at Pinehurst Resort on the day of the event. Teenagers will receive $10 off individual tickets the day of the event and kids 12 and younger are free with a paying adult.

A limited number of tickets costing $25 each can also be purchased for the RKM Collector Car Auction on Saturday, May 4, as bidders have an opportunity to drive away in their dream cars during a live sale at the Pinehurst Resort Fair Barn.
