Virgin Racing launched it's radically designed VR-01 chassis for the 2010 Formula One season Wednesday.

Thursday a day after its unveiling, the VR-01 with Timo Glock at the controls, began a two-day shakedown on a bitterly cold Silverstone's shorter Stowe circuit.

Earlier this week, Virgin said the VR-01 passed the rear impact structure crash test, meaning it is now cleared to race in Formula One. The car will join the official group test action at Jerez this coming week.
