NASCAR RACE HUB: The Hub (7 p.m. ET Monday-Thursday) on Thursday offers a feature that delves into the competitiveness between Hendrick Motorsports teammates Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.

On whether Gordon can return to his past dominance:

Gordon:
In the past when we’ve dominated, races we shouldn’t have won we were winning, and the ones we should have won we were winning those too. And this year we seem to get ourselves in that position to win the race, and it’s not going our way.”

On competing with each other for the championship:

Gordon:
“We’ve already seen this year that we will bump and bang if we have to … you’re going to do what it takes to win, and it doesn’t matter if it’s your teammate.”

Johnson: “I’m not trying to single him out … if the championship is on the line and it’s a green-white-checkered, you’re going to do anything you can. It doesn’t matter who it is.”

Also on Thursday, Randy Pemberton joins host Steve Byrnes to discuss the latest happenings in NASCAR, and Jimmy Spencer offers his take on the hottest topics in the sport and answers viewer emails.

DOWN TO THE WIRE AT “THE ROCK”: SPEED returns to historic Rockingham Speedway this weekend with live coverage of Saturday’s ARCA Racing Series season finale at 1:30 p.m. ET. Rick Allen and Phil Parsons will call the action with Ray Dunlap and Jim Tretow patrolling pit road. Heading into the final race of the year, the top three drivers (Patrick Sheltra, Craig Goess and Tom Hessert) are separated by only 20 points and each looking to take home his first ARCA championship. Also entered in Saturday’s race is Ty Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress and younger brother of Austin Dillon, who won last week’s ARCA race at Kansas in only his second series start. Ty Dillon’s series debut at Iowa Speedway in July netted him a runner-up finish and a pole position for Richard Childress Racing.

NASCAR RACEDAY: On Sunday’s NASCAR RaceDay Built by The Home Depot, John Roberts, Kyle Petty and Kenny Wallace will discuss the unwritten “ground rules” for how non-Chase drivers should race Chase drivers in light of last week’s Kyle Busch/David Reutimann skirmish. Sunday’s show also features a look at former independent driver and California native DK Ulrich, who has parlayed a love of aviation into a post-driving career in NASCAR. Plus, the panel reviews the points shake-up at Kansas last week and takes a look at which Chase driver usually fares the best at Auto Club Speedway. Furthermore, reporters Wendy Venturini and Hermie Sadler will have live interviews with Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman and David Reutimann.
