ART’s Luca Filippi was the fastest man in the second day of GP2 Series testing in France’s Paul Ricard circuit. The sessions were the final testing opportunity for the championship’s 13 teams before the end of the 2008 season.

The Italian’s best time of 1:09.934 came in the morning session, while iSport’s Bruno Senna was second quickest overall at 1:10.054, a time the Brazilian obtained in the afternoon.

The 2008 GP2 Series season resumes in two weeks with the Magny-Cours doubleheader. Racing Engineering’s Giorgio Pantano leads the championship ahead of Bruno Senna.
