With the rumored takeover by a Russian or Indian consortium still waiting in the wings, the Super Aguri team has announced the postponement of its 2008 Formula 1 challenger, the SA08.

Originally set to appear – along with the team’s ’08 drivers – at Barcelona on February 19, the SA08 will have its first track outing at that day, but no drivers or livery will be confirmed at that date, though team principal Aguri Suzuki and technical director Mark Preston will be available for interviews at the occasion.

It is now expected that the driving lineup – who’s all but certain to include Takuma Sato, while Anthony Davidson’s position remains under threat if some of the foreign consortiums buys in – and the color scheme will only be fully confirmed at the Australian Grand Prix season opening weekend.
