Super Aguri’s situation appears to have reached crunch time as autosport.com reports that the team’s trucks have been denied access to this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix paddock on Sunday.
Aguri Suzuki’s squad needs a new investor to carry on racing this season, and German automotive engineering firm Weigl Group intends to get involved with the operation. However, as a company with annual sales of just $200m, Weigl would need additional funding from other partners.

Also according to the report, Honda Racing CEO Nick Fry has informed Formula One Management – the sport’s commercial arm – that Super Aguri won’t be racing in Turkey (i.e., no further help from Honda is coming) and that was the reason access to the paddock was denied.
Aguri’s trucks and motorhome are currently parked outside the track awaiting further information from the squad’s management.
