F1: Senna Confirms Deal Via Twitter

Bruno Senna has used Twitter to tell the world that he has landed an F1 deal for next year with the new Campos team – thus becoming the first driver to use the medium in such a way.

Friday night the Brazilian sent a series of messages in both English and Portuguese, with the former reading as follows:

‘Guys, I'd like to thank you all for the great support! After many weeks of hard work and negotiations, me and my management finally made it!

‘I'm very happy and I'd like to share this moment with you! Now it's time to focus and work hard in preparation for next year!’

‘Lots of hard work to come and, hopefully a great starting point! All the best! Valeu!’

‘I'd like to thank God, my family, friends and everybody who supports me for the extra strength given! Thanks!’

Pedro de la Rosa remains the favorite for the second Campos seat.
