Paul Di Resta is in a legal dispute with Lewis Hamilton’s father Anthony, having split with his former manager some weeks ago.

Anthony Hamilton has filed a suit for wrongful termination of contract and loss of earnings.

According to the Daily Telegraph, defense documents from Di Resta’s side indicate that the matter was largely related to a personal sponsorship deal with an energy drink company, in which Hamilton had an involvement.

At a British GP press conference earlier this month, Di Resta would only say: “I think everything’s been said that has to be said. I confirm that we’re not working together. I think it’s been reported that we’re no longer working together, so that is the matter at the moment.”

In a strange twist, Di Resta is now in effect being looked after by Jenson Button’s management team.
