F1: HRT To Shakedown New Car On Monday

HRT will shakedown its new F112 in a filming day at Barcelona on Monday.

In a statement the team said: “The F112 will see then the light and will cover its first kilometers during this promotional filming session. Narain Karthikeyan will be the driver in the cockpit on this occasion. Pedro de la Rosa and Dani Clos will also be present to see how the new car evolves.”

Given that it has had all winter to get itself organized – and could have done some proper testing on race tires if it had readied the car even a day earlier – the delayed schedule does not bode well for the team’s prospects.
