F1: Campos Project ‘Still Alive’

Italian racecar maker Dallara has denied reports the new Spanish team Campos has fallen behind in payments.
The report comes amid speculation that Campos is looking to sell after failing to compile a full budget for 2010; Dallara said the team is indeed paying its bills.
"It is not true, not from our side at least," chief executive officer Andrea Pontremoli said in a BBC Sport report.
"We are still proceeding to build the car and it has passed its crash tests."
The report said Campos is, like Lotus, expected to test the car for the first time at the third winter test in mid February.
It is also reported that the team has already agreed to sell a major stake to the South African businessman Tony Teixeira.
"People speak about Teixeira, but we are (also) talking to others," said Adrian Campos.
The former Minardi driver played down speculation that selling his entry to Stefan GP, who wants to use the departed Toyota's 2010 package, is another possibility.
"I don't want to sell my part of the team and I will remain the team principal -- the condition to be a shareholder is to accept all the existing contracts," Campos added.
"We are looking for investors and sponsors but the project is very much alive."
