Campos Meta 1 is in talks with parties potentially interested in buying into the new Spanish team, according to a report.

The German website motorsport-total.com is reporting that the outfit led by former Minardi driver and GP2 team owner Adrian Campos has yet to collate its full budget for the 2010 season.

The report said Campos is looking at either partly or completely selling the team before the Bahrain season opener, and possibly as soon as next week.

"It is not a secret that we do not have the budget. And time is scarce," a source confirmed.

"If we can find a good investor, we could sell part of the team to them. If necessary we could sell the whole team, but the basic conditions would have to be right," the source added.

The source said talks with several potential investors are taking place, including the South African entrepreneur and A1GP boss Tony Teixeira, who in the past has been linked with buying Super Aguri, Spyker, Toro Rosso and Honda.

Campos reported earlier this week that they expect to turn out for the first test on February 1 with its 2010 car and Brazilian driver Bruno Senna, and subsequently the other three group tests prior to Bahrain.
