TODAY: Organizers for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas will hold a press conference today, Tuesday, April, 12, 2011 at 4:00 pm Eastern/1:00 pm Pacific.

The 2012 USGP marks the return of Formula One Grand Prix racing to the United States after a five year hiatus.
The Hermann Tilke-designed circuit located outside of Austin, TX will take advantage of the site’s natural topography including dramatic elevation changes. The 3.4 mile (5.47 kilometers) circuit features 20 turns and a total elevation change of 133 feet (40.5 meters), including a steep, uphill run into the hairpin Turn 1, which is expected to become the venue’s signature corner - the track will be raced in a counterclockwise direction.
